Terms
Plain-language terms for the board. The same text appears inside the claim flow when you confirm a spot.
- 1
Your bid sets your rank
The amount you bid is the price shown beside your company — higher bid, higher rank.
- 2
Bids are intent, not data
Bids are statements of intent — never funding, valuation, or traffic figures for any company on the board.
- 3
One record per company
Re-claiming the same site or @handle replaces its earlier bid rather than adding a second row.
- 4
Payment before going live
A record appears on the public board only once its payment is confirmed. Confirming a claim opens a secure checkout; the record goes live when the payment clears. An unpaid claim stays pending and private.
- 5
Ties and anonymity
Ties are broken by the earlier claim. Claims are anonymous — there is no account system.
Payments
Confirming a claim opens a secure checkout run by Dodo Payments. Your bid is the amount charged; the record appears on the board once the payment confirms and Dodo notifies us. A claim that is never paid stays pending and is never shown. As the launch banner says, first-week bids are pledged to Nepal flood relief via the PMRF.
